I would describe this to someone that can't see the photograph as imaginative meaning that the person that took the photograph is really imaginative because it looks like he based it on shapes as he has used a variety of them and a lot of lines. The space represented in the photograph is very empty and has a lot of negative space. The composition is really odd because the contrast of the photograph has different tones, the caravan is really light and the background is dark. The image is in focus and the first thing that catches my eye is the sign that has clouds on the top of it, it looks like the photographer did it on purpose because he has a lot of focus. The part that strikes my eye the most is the way the photographer framed, the sign that has the clouds on the top because it looks like a ice cream cone. The question that I would ask the photographer is what made you take a photograph of that pacific road and did you take that picture because you like shapes. If I lived were that photograph was taken it would be really boring and not busy because it looks old fashioned, I know this because the car and the house are old. I suppose the artist made this photograph because he's interested in shapes, I think this because he uses many different shapes such as triangles, circles, squares and a lot more. What I found effective about this photograph is the techniques he has used. What doesn't go well is that the tones are different. |
